C.A. Currington, 88, of Lubbock passed from this life on December 1, 2019. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at West Texas Church at the Barn in Lubbock.
He was born February 26, 1931 in Purdon, Texas to parents, Clarence Thomas and Izyal Noma (Back) Currington. He married Johnnie Lee Huddleston on January 9, 1949 in Emhouse, Texas. They made their home in Levelland where he was a Lease Operator for Amoco.
C.A. was preceded in death by his wife, his parents; and brother, Coy Dean Currington.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his children; Ronnie Currington and wife, JoAnn, Ted Currington and wife, Jan, Pam Bryant and husband, Ricky, Mark Currington and wife Amy, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Donnie Currington and Kenny Currington; sister, Burdene Tidwell; several nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
