Willie Sanchez

Willie G. Sanchez, 80, of Spur, Texas passed from this life on June 14, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018, with the Rosary being said at 7:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Levelland. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born September 2, 1937 in Calvert, Texas to parents Andres and Carmel Sanchez. Willie married Lucy Hernandez on January 11, 1963 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Levelland. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas for 30 years.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lupe Iglesias.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Sanchez; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Les Heflin; son Christopher Sanchez; granddaughter, Sydney and husband Branden Katona, step-grandson, Blake and wife Jessica Heflin and ; great granddaughter, Elena Grace Heflin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
