Willie Niblett

Willie Joe Niblett, Sr., 77, passed from this life on April 29, 2019 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Christ United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born May 26, 1941 in Cameron, Texas to parents, Charles and Viola (Franklin) Niblett. He was an auto mechanic for many years.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charlene Niblett Scott; and brother, Joe L. Niblett.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Foley Niblett of Lubbock; sons, Willie J. Niblett and wife Celeste of Levelland, Terrance Niblett and Chris Niblett both of Lubbock; daughter, Shea Niblett of Lubbock; brothers, John Burgess and wife Pat of Arizona, and Richard Burgess and wife Rosa of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Rosa Burgess of Bryan, and Donna Brown of Amarillo; brothers by choice, Lonnie Woodruff and Robert Franklin; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
