Wendy Pierce, 66, of Levelland passed from this life on March 3,2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 6,2025 at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 7,2025 in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 4:00 pm in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery following the funeral services.
Wendy was born and raised in Lubbock, TX. She attended Coronado High School, Class of '76. She loved the restaurant business beginning early in life working for her step-father, Bo Bowman, at a few of his restaurants including Good Times. She worked for her good friend, Cindy Mayer, for many years at At Your Service Catering in Lubbock. Then, she lived and worked in downtown Dallas at Gardere & Wynne for several years before she joined the Chilis team, first in Dallas, and then in Lubbock. She worked for Chilis for twenty plus years where she met many great friends. She was also the co-owner of Levelland Time Restaurant and Time After Time bar in Levelland.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Verna Allen Bowman; father, Troy Eugene Allen; brother, Russell Duane Allen, aunt, Mary Etta Barnes and brother-in-law, Wayne Riggins.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include daughters, Mandy Campbell of Sundown and Kimberly Campell and husband, Paul Fernandez of O’Donnell; son, Chas Taylor and wife, Holly of Abilene; step daughter, Emily Anne McKenzie and husband Rushie Lee of Eagle Pass; step father, Bo Bowman of Levelland; brother, Michael Allen and wife, Sandy of Lubbock; sister, Crystal Riggins of Levelland; grandchildren, Meagan Campbell of Sundown, Elijah Shugard of Lubbock, Isaiah Fernandez of O'Donnell, Desiree Fernandez of O'Donnell, Marcus Fernandez of O'Donnell; Reed Taylor and wife, Katie of Abilene, Callie Taylor of Abilene; great-grandchildren, Roman Taylor, Malcolm Taylor and Brielle Taylor of Abilene; along with nieces and nephews, Lacey Almagar and husband, Arnold, Benjamin Almagar, Matthew Almagar, Henry Almagar, Chelsey Dolbrovolny husband, Jason, Hudson Dolbrovolny, Stedson Dolbrovolny, Kristin Slaven and husband, Jeremy, Enly Slaven, Edie Slaven and Jason Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the charity of your choice.
