Wayne Strickland

Wayne Dale Strickland went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 11, 2020, one day before his 90th birthday. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at the City of Levelland Cemetery with Pastor Robert Burns officiating.

Wayne was born November 12, 1930 to Charlie Landon and Eula Vesta Strickland.  He worked for Dowell, Inc., farmed, went on wheat harvest and drove cars for R&K and Smith South Plains car dealerships until his retirement.

He was a member of The Assembly of God Church in Levelland where he served as a deacon for many years.  Wayne was also a member of The Gideons.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Ray; and sister, Ethel Tipton.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
