Victoria A. Sutton

It is with profound sadness the family of Victoria (Vicki) Ann Sutton announces her passing. Vicki was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her passing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Krestridge Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27,2024 at Park Drive Baptist Church.

Vicki was born in Palo Alto, California, to Mary June Ballard and Phillip Reiz. Vicki spent 14 years in California but ultimately called Sundown, Texas home. Vicki worked as a dietitian for 23 years but her true passion was her family.

On July 8, 1971, Vicki married her late husband, Larry Sanders. Vicki and Larry had two beautiful children, Paula and Brad. Paula and Brad were the light of Vicki’s eyes.

In 1992, Vicki officially became a Memaw. Vicki was blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren: Logan, Tori, Fatiymah, EJ, and Paige Moody. Being a Memaw was Vicki’s biggest blessing. She loved chasing her grandchildren around to sporting or band events.

On March 6, 2005, Vicki married her second love, Luther P. Sutton (Skeeter). Skeeter spent the past 20 years by her side and until her last breath.

Vicki was loving and a natural caretaker. In her younger years, she loved going to the beach and playing volleyball. She also had a passion for gardening and was a natural DYI-er. She spent her years raising her siblings, children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Vicki’s life was full of love and there is nothing more in this life she could have asked for. Her family will always remember her amazing cooking and sweet tea.

Vicki is survived by: her husband, Skeeter Sutton; children, Paula (Kirby) Moody, Brad (Brent Shaw) Sanders; stepchildren: Billy (Della) Sutton, Audra (Randy) Proctor; grandchildren, Logan (Shiloh) Moody, Tori (Kazai Drew) Moody, Fatiymah Moody, EJ Moody, Paige Moody, Kari Sutton, Auston Proctor, Clayton Proctor, and Aaron Proctor; siblings, Bobby Reiz, Clyde Boyte Jr, Lynn Boyte, Deniese Boyte, Donny Botye, and Risha Taylor and many nieces and nephews.

Vicki is preceded in death by her late husband, Larry Sanders; parents, Mary June Boyte and Paul Reiz; stepfather, Clyde Boyte Sr.; her niece, Ashley Salazar and a grandson, Billy Dee Sutton.

Services with integrity, honor and pride are under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home. (806) 897-1111
