Thomas Rex Ellison

Thomas Rex Ellison, 92, of Levelland passed from this life on August 24, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Fifth Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born August 19,1931 in Stonewall County, Texas to Charles Dewey and Gracie Mae (Graham) Ellison.  Rex owned and operated Rex’s Bit Salvage. He was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents; children, Buddy and Debbie Ellison and sister, Charlene Turner.

He is survived by his wife, June Ellison; grandchildren, Eric Ellison and wife, Carie, Bryce Ellison, Logun Saenz and wife, Alicia and Keely Manney and husband, Jordan; great grandchildren, Kyler Villarreal, Croy Ellison and Sophia Ellison; brothers, Larry Ellison of Carrolton and Dewey Ellison of Levelland; sisters, Sandra Wallace of Levelland and Jenny Reid of Levelland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Fifth Street Baptist Church.
