Silbano E. Garcia

Silbano E. García, 86, of Levelland passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19,2024 at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 20,2024 at Austin Street Church of Christ, officiated by Minister J. Pierce and Minister Silbano García II. Interment will follow in the Levelland City Cemetery.

He was born April 13, 1938 in Pawnee, Texas to parents Rosendo and Romana Garcia. Silbano was a member of Austin Street Church of Christ. Silbano was a minister, community activists, business owner, school board member, baseball coach, scoutmaster, school bus driver, and participated in Minorities in Mexico.

Silbano was preceded in death by his wife Petra; parents and family members Doroteo, Cirildo, Eloy, Mary, Johnny, Steve, and Jesse.

He is survived by his loving children, Sylvia, Louis, Silbano Jr., Reynaldo, Sylvia, Mary Ann, Lisa and John; sister, Adela; brothers, Ray, Bernardo, and Domingo and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.
