Ruth Gonzales

Ruth Salazar Gonzales, 62, of Lubbock passed from this life on November 16, 2021.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born January 13, 1959 in Levelland to Guadalupe and Patsy Salazar.  Ruth graduated from Sundown High School in 1977. She excelled in band and was named Band Sweetheart and Who’s Who.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Eliazar Gonzales; children, Becki Munoz and husband Freddy and Oscar Gonzales and wife Kate; grandchildren, Michael Gonzales, Elee Munoz, Brenda Munoz, Aubrie Gonzales and Tori Gonzales-Askey; and siblings, Clelia Castillo and husband Richard, Elizabeth Salazar, Juanita Salazar and Gloria Carranza and husband Johnny.
