Robert Ruzich

Robert ''Andy'' Ruzich, 87, of Levelland passed from this life on January 24, 2020. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Park Drive Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born December 15, 1932 in Peoria, IL to parents, Andrew John Ruzich and Goldie Beatrice Jenkins. Andy moved to California from Illinois and spent the majority of his childhood there. He later enlisted into the Air Force as a combat fighter and served in the Korean War. When he returned from war, he met and married the love of his life, Margaret. They moved to Levelland where they raised their family and Andy retired from Southwestern Public Service. Andy was a member of Park Drive Baptist Church.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bonnie Harris and Betty Ruzich; granddaughters, Susan and Natalie Ruzich; and grandson, Jason Patton.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ruzich of Levelland; son, Bobby (Barbara) Ruzich of Panhandle; daughters, Dianna Platt of Sunray, Dorothy (Joe) Richardson of Sundown, and Annie (Tony) Cardona of Denton; 9 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests memorials be made in Andy's memory to Park Drive Baptist Church, 107 County Road, Levelland, Texas 79336, or a charity of your choice.
