Rebecca Gonzales

Rebecca Gonzales, 61, of Levelland was called home to the Lord on May 25, 2022. 

She was born April 29, 1961 in Amherst to Raul Gonzales and Cruz Vigil Hooten.  Rebecca moved to Ohio at a young age and remained there until she moved to Levelland in 2010 when she met her husband, Jaime Garay.

Rebecca loved to spend time with and cook for her children and grandchildren.  She would always make sure everyone knew how much she loved them. After moving to Texas and marrying Jaime, Rebecca gained an extended family that she also loved. 

She was a devout Catholic, loving mother and grandmother.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her daughter, Raquel; and brother, Rey.

She is survived by her husband, Jaime Garay; children, Cristina Hill, Emily Ysasi and Eli (Hailey) Ysasi; siblings, Raul (Esther) Gonzales, Rosemary (Tonio) Zermeno and Rita (Juan) Castillo; and grandchildren, Xavier Ysasi, Joseph Rodriguez, Vanesa Rodriguez, Marcella Rodriguez, Mya Guerra, Abrahm Hill, Reina Ysasi and Gabriella Ysasi.

Private services will be held.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made to you local Catholic church or a favorite charity.
