Raymond Graninger

Raymond D. Graninger, 82, of Levelland passed from this life on July 13, 2017, at Levelland Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 17, 2017, at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Raymond was born July 11, 1935 in Vernon, Texas to parents J.D. and Alpha Lee Graninger. He married Rose Kathryn Rust on February 19, 1957. Raymond was a vacuum truck driver in the oilfield for many years.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melody Rose Graninger; son, Teddy Ray Graninger; and sisters, Betty Bridges Norman and Pat Porterfield.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Graninger of Levelland; daughters, Kala Kidd of Levelland, Pam (Frankie) McCown of Levelland, Laura (Bo) Johnson of Levelland, and Kristi (Wesley) Alford of San Angelo;son, Rusty Graninger of Levelland; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
