Raymon Hall, 88, of Morton, Texas entered into the gates of Heaven on August 7, 2017 after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am at High Plains Cowboy Church in Levelland on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Burial will follow in the Morton Cemetery.
Raymon was born on January 13, 1929 in Brownfield, Texas to Ralph and Dora Hall. He graduated from Bula Schools, married and had four children. Along with farming in the Cochran County area, he raised cattle. Raymon loved roping, horses, and drinking coffee with others at the Lewis Farm & Ranch Store. He continued his passion of roping until he was 86. Raymon won a saddle as a Senior roper at the age of 85.
He is survived by four children: son Randy of Morton; daughters, Rayma Holladay (Henry) of LaGrange, Janice Wright (Clif) of Fort Worth, and Sharon King of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
