Randall Riley

Torrance Randall Riley passed from this life on December 13, 2022.   He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay Riley, and parents, Tommie Torrance (T.T.) and Jewell Riley.  A Memorial service will be held on January 6,  2023, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Levelland, TX.

Randall was born on November 13, 1936, in Clovis, NM.  He graduated from Clovis High School in 1954.   After graduation began a career in the banking industry, working for several banks throughout New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas.  While working at First National Bank in Levelland, he met his future wife, Linda Kay Everitt, whom he married on August 14, 1965, and they had two sons.  In 1978 Randall left the banking business and started a career in the oilfield, where he worked for the next 20 years.   After retiring from the oilfield, he worked for Levelland Independent School District, driving charter buses for Whirlwind Tours out of Clovis, NM, and G Boren Services in Lubbock, TX.

He joined the New Mexico National Guard in 1954, where he served for nine years.  He received his Associate's Degree from SPC, served on Levelland Noon Lions Club for eight years, and was involved with Little Dribblers and Little League Baseball.  He was active in First Baptist Church Choir, Senior Adult Choir, and Men's Ensemble.

He is survived by 2 sons, Tommie and wife Christie Riley of Levelland, TX, and Chris and wife Keri Riley of Sundown, TX;  2 sisters, Marylin Hendricks and late husband Wendall of Farmington, NM, and Charlotte and Don Devers of Carlsbad, NM;  5 Grandchildren, Trace Riley of Shallowater, TX, Chandler Shillig of Lubbock TX, Sarah and Troy Holdman of Sundown TX, and Karlee and Kadee Riley of Sundown, TX; great grandchild, Stevi Holdman of Sundown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
