Ramiro Perez

Ramiro “Ray” Perez, 41, of Levelland entered into rest on January 18, 2022 in Pampa, Texas.

Visitation will be held 6-8:00 PM, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ruby Moultrie officiating.

Ray was born October 2, 1980 in Lubbock, Texas to Ramiro, Jr. and JoAnn Perez.  He graduated from the South Plains College Police Academy in 2014, and was currently commissioned as an officer with the Shallowater Police Department.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Chris Perez.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Shanna Perez; son, J.J. Perez (Kil’ayah Gilmer); daughters, Ashlyn Bridges (Christian Pena) and  Kyla Bridges (Arasai Dawn); niece, N’ya Perez; nephew, Niaco Perez; grandchildren, Eva Trevino, Kash Dawn, Xavier Perez, Mason Pena, Kambry Pena, Aliyanna Perez; and sister, Christina Perez; along with a host of many friends and fellow law enforcement officers who will miss him dearly.
