Pedro Zuniga

Pedro Zuniga, 68, of Levelland passed from this life on November 12, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2019, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Whiteface Cemetery.

He was born February 7, 1951 in Odessa to parents, Juan and Juana (Mora) Zuniga. Beginning at an early age, Pedro picked cotton and worked as a farmhand before moving to the oilfield. He worked as a roustabout and equipment operator before becoming a spread boss.

Pedro was a member of the Dallas Cowboys Church on Sundays, and some Mondays.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Juana Zuniga; brothers, Margarito Zuniga, Jessie Zuniga and Manuel Zuniga; nephews, ''Petey'' Timmons, ''Temo'' Flores and Zane Timmons; niece, Elinda Timmons; and granddaughter, Harley Zuniga.

Pedro is survived by his sons, Michael Zuniga, Tony Walker, Thomas Zuniga, and William Zuniga; daughters, Rachel Walker, Susie Zuniga, Kimberly Grande, and Cassandra Zuniga; brothers, Jose Zuniga and Francisco Zuniga; sisters, Carmen Timmons, Lupe Soliz, Ramona Zuniga and Maria Rodriguez; and grandchildren, Genesis Zuniga, Noah Zuniga, Levi Zuniga, Xavier Rodriguez, Jazzmin Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Dakota Grande-Dover, Cooper Walker, David M. Zuniga and Caden Huckins.
