Paula Gilmer

Services for Paula Kay Gilmer, age 71, will be Friday, December 21, 2018, 2:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Kay passed away Monday, December 17, 2018.

Kay was born in Levelland, TX on December 15, 1947 to Lloyd and Pauline Funk. Kay married Jerry Gilmer on January 7, 1967 in Levelland. She was retired from South Plains College after 25 years as an Admissions Clerk. Kay volunteered at the gift shop at Covenant Hospital for many years. She taught Bible Class for many years at Cactus Drive Church of Christ. Kay was a member of 13th and K Church of Christ in Levelland.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents.

Kay is survived by her husband Jerry, of the home; two daughters, Kathy Behrendsen and husband Bob of Houston, and Laura Wright and husband Alan of Rockwall; one son, Ron Gilmer and wife Tara of Abilene; three brothers, J.L Funk of Haltom City, Frank Funk of Florida, and Bobby Funk of El Paso; and five grandchildren, Abigail Wright, Audrey Behrendsen, Brooks Behrendsen, Emma Gilmer and Nathan Moore.

The family suggests memorials be made to New Mexico Christian Children's Home, 1356 NM-236, Portales, NM 88130.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
