Nancy Taylor

A Memorial Service for Nancy Jane Taylor, 86, of Levelland, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Austin Street Church of Christ with Jay Kelley, of Austin Street Church of Christ officiating.  Immediately after the memorial, she will be interred in the Taylor family plot on the hill in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home of Levelland.

She passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in her home.

Nancy Jane Taylor was born Nancy Jane Wilson to Elsie and Oliver Wilson in Oakland, California on December 9, 1934.  She graduated from Oakland High School and later Contra Costa Junior College with an associate degree in Business Administration.

Later, two sons, David and Steve, were born to her.  In June of 1979, she married Eric Taylor.  Shortly after their marriage, Eric retired from his long-time employer, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and the two moved to Wyoming where they resided for ten years.
Soon after their arrival in Douglas, Wyoming, Nancy converted and was baptized by her husband, Eric, at the Douglas Church of Christ.  The couple moved from Wyoming to Levelland in July of 2006 and resided here until her passing.

Nancy edited all five of her husband’s books.  She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
