Mona Merritt

Mona Lisa Merritt, 67, passed from this life on April 12. 2019. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Austin Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born October 23, 1951 in Odessa, Texas to parents, Billie and Floyd Riley. She married Ronnie Scribner in 1966 and together they had one son, Brandon. She later married Nicky Kidd who preceded her in death.

Mona was a spunky, bright shining star with a smile that could light up the room. She had a big heart and a beautiful soul. Mona enjoyed good food, socializing, making people laugh, and spending time with her family and dogs. She left a positive
impact on everyone she encountered. Mona's legacy will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Scribner; sister, Vonnie DeArmond; and many nieces and nephews.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Roddie Ray Riley.
