Mary Gunn

We, her family, wish to celebrate the life of Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Mary Yvonne Gunn, of Levelland, Texas, who passed away peacefully on October 26, 2020.  She was 93.

“Grandma”, as she was affectionately call by her grandchildren, was born in Flomot, Texas on January 28, 1927.  She married the love of her life, Raymond Gunn, to whom she was a devoted wife for 71 years until his passing on August 4, 2015.  Raymond and Mary farmed cotton for over 50 years in Hockley County.  Mary was an active member of 13 ^th and K Church of Christ.

As we celebrate her life, we are thankful for the many memories that she left with us, and the lasting impact she has had on all of our lives.  We loved her and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gunn; and her parents, Raldo and Pearl Martin.

She is survived by her sister, Dena McGann of Wichita Falls, Texas;  two daughters, Judy Rogers (Rick) of Levelland, Texas and Pat Porter (Carl) of Seymour, Texas; five grandchildren, Jill Hampton (Kevin), Ricky Rogers (Julie), Robby Rogers (Melany), Emily Rogers, Amanda Baker (Kerry); and 13 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home with burial in Levelland Cemetery.
