Maria Rubalcava

Maria Elena Salamanca Rubalcava, 76, of Levelland passed from this life on December 22, 2020.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2020, with the Rosary being said at 7:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born December 4, 1944 in Carizal Jalisco, Mexico to Natividad Salamanca and Eloisa Rivera.  Maria married the love of her life, Leo Rubalcava in May 1961.

Maria loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.  She retired from Levelland ISD after 20 years of service in 2008.  Maria was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Rubalcava.

Maria is survived by her children, Joe and Alvina Rubalcava, Jaime Rubalcava, Daniel and Nancy Mendoza, Leo and Laura Rubalcava, Jose Rubalcava, Ernesto and Lisa Rubalcava, Jorge Castillo and Norma Rubalcava, and Carlos and Adela Rubalcava; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
