Maria Castillo

Maria Elena Castillo, 67, of Ropesville passed from this life on January 18, 2022.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 21, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Ropesville Cemetery.

She was born August 20, 1954 in Chalchihuites, Mexico to Porfirio Andrade and Natalia Gonzalez.  Although she was born in Mexico, she lived the majority of her life in Ropesville.

Maria was a devoted wife and mother having raised five sons.  She was a warm-hearted soul that welcomed everyone into her humble home.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus Castillo, Sr.; sons, Jesus Castillo, Jr., Oscar Castillo, Miguel Castillo, Saul Castillo, and Javier Castillo; daughters-in-law, Mayra Castillo, Gracie Castillo, Diana Castillo, and Brandi Castillo; and several grandchildren.
