Margarett Davis

Margarett "Peggy" Davis, 80, of Levelland passed away at her home on January 1, 2019. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 4, 2019. at Second Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Peggy was born in Vinson, Oklahoma on August 20, 1938 to Haskell and Cleta Knight. She married Gerald D. Davis on June 25, 1956 in Portales, NM. Peggy was a homemaker and charter member of Second Baptist Church in Levelland.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ray Knight; and four sisters, Glenda Sue Johnson, Judy Grant, Joy Williams, and Marie Warlick.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Gerald D. Davis of Levelland; three sons, Duane Davis and wife Brenda of Levelland, Steve Davis and wife Rene of Lubbock, and Ron Davis and wife Shannon of Wellsburg, West Virginia; two sisters, Sandy Powell of Haskell, and Jo Stutzman and husband Steven of Graham; eight grandchildren, Justin (Lindsey) Davis, Ryan (Baylee) Davis, Drew (Jaiah) Davis, Josh (Dianne) Davis, Hayley (Layne) Sheets, Cason Davis, Timothy (Jordyn) Davis, and Sarah (Kary) Heath; and seven great-grandchildren.
