Funeral Services for Mary LuDean Taylor, 83 of Whiteface, TX will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 29,  2020  at The First Christian Church, 311 Clubview Drive, Levelland, TX, with Rev. Jesse Hodge and Rev. Harold Harrison officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday December 28, 2020 from 5 – 7 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home, 505 Austin Street, Levelland, TX.  Burial will follow the service at the Whiteface Cemetery under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home.  For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed on Facebook on the page of Liz Hodge.

LuDean was born on March 30, 1937 in Temple, OK. to Edwil and Mary Wright and later attended and graduated from Sundown Schools.  She married Floyd Taylor on June 15, 1955 and was married and best friends for sixty-five and half years. She retired from Whiteface ISD after 18 years of service to tend her gardens and enjoy her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Levelland and The Church of Christ in Whiteface.  LuDean passed from this earth, on December 22, 2020 in Lubbock, TX.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Edwil and Mary Wright of Sundown, TX; brothers, Don Wright of Odessa, TX., and Stanley Wright of Denver City, TX.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Taylor of Whiteface TX; son, Terry Taylor and wife Sue of Smyer, TX; daughters, Traci Baker and husband David of Amarillo, TX and  Vonda Macsay and husband, Paul of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Guerry Wright and wife Ann of Follet, TX; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three great–grandchildren;  and four step great-grandchildren, along with a host of many friends, neighbors, and church family who will dearly miss her.
