Lillian Ray Cloud Champion

Lillian Ray Cloud Champion, 91, of Levelland, Tx passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. The family would like to invite family and friends for a Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM at Krestridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sundown Cemetery. 

Lillian was born on October 21, 1933, to Leo and Gladys Short in Joy, TX. She married Burtis Cloud on September 19, 1950, with whom she shared 3 children with. Their years together were filled with cherished memories that would last a lifetime. Later in life, Lillian found love again when she married Bob Champion on August 7, 2001. This second chapter brought her joy and companionship, further enriching her life’s journey

Lillian’s journey through life was marked by her deep commitment to her community and her faith. An avid attendee of church, she found solace and strength in her belief, inspiring others with her vibrant spirit and dedication. Her heart was always open; she was known for her readiness to lend a helping hand to those in need. The warmth she radiated made her a beloved figure among her family and friends.

Lillian leaves behind her sister; Peggy Mosier, children Jerry Wayne Cloud (Dora), Elizabeth Ann Richardson, and Vicki Kay Williams (Randy); Debby & Bob Cowley, Dona and Dale Mitchell and several grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by Burtis Cloud, Bob Champion, her sisters: Lillie Robertson and Dolly Crockett; and brothers Bill Short and Don Short.
