Lesslie McKay

Lesslie Junior McKay, 83, of Sundown passed from this life on September 9, 2019 at his home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Park Drive Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Sundown Cemetery.

He was born July 26, 1936 in Viburnum, Missouri to parents Floyd Lesslie and Buela Mae (Payne) McKay.

Lesslie married Norma Mitchell on January 25, 1959 in Joplin, Missouri. He was a long time rig operator and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by wife of 55 years, Norma; his parents; grandsons, Eric Garcia, Brian Mosely and Dusty Carpenter; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.

Lesslie is survived by his daughters, Tammy Ware, Debbie Garcia, Pamala Sue McKay, Missy Carpenter and Mary Perryman; 16 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.
