Leonor Garcia

Leonor Garcia, 89, of Levelland passed away April 26, 2017, at her home. Rosary was held at 6 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, April 28, 2017, at 10 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens.

Leonor was born July 1, 1927 in Guadalupe Victoria Meoqui, Chihuahua to parents Cruz Garcia and Maria Saldana. She grew up in Delicias Chihuahua and moved to the United States in1991.

Leonor married to Jose Vitolas of Delicias, Chihuahua. They were married twenty years until Jose passed away. She lived with her only son, Jose Luis, in Mexico until 1991 when they moved to the United States. Jose Luis took on full responsibility of Leonor until the day of her death.

She is preceded in death her parents, husband, and siblings Rosendo Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Marcos Garcia and Martha Garcia.

Leonor is survived by her son, Jose Luis; granddaughter, Eunice Rodriguez; grandson, Jose Luis Vitolas, Jr.; granddaughter, Yesenia Vitolas; great grandchildren, Isaak Rodriguez, Jade Rodriguez, Jose Luis Vitolas III, Ricardo Vitolas, and Natalia Marin; and sister, Antonia Garcia.
