Leno Magana

Magdaleno R. “Maggie” Magana, 64, of Levelland passed from this life on January 16, 2021.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Sundown Cemetery.

He was born December 11, 1956 in Levelland to Frank Magana and Adelaida Rodriguez Magana.  Maggie married the love of his life, Gloria Barrera, in 1980.

Maggie was a truck driver over the years for Musslewhite Trucking, Verna Drilling, T-T Carriers, Sitton Drilling, Butch’s Rat Hole, Globe Energy and Gravity.

He enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends.  Maggie enjoyed fishing, hunting and most of all, spending time with family.

Maggie was preceded in death by his father, Frank Magana; mother, Adelaida Magana; son, Magdaleno Magana; and brothers, Ruben Magana, Robert Magana and Lupe Magana.

He is survived by his wife of 40 ½ years, Gloria Magana; sons, Jamie Magana and wife Jessica of Levelland and Ricky Magana and wife Kayla of Levelland; daughter, Marlena Magana of Levelland; brother, Frank Magana, Jr. and wife Dolores; sisters, Delma Magana of Roswell, New Mexico and Patti Valdez and husband Inoe of Denver City; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
