Lana Austin

Lana Mae Austin was a caring mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She left this world on January 21, 2022, at the age of 79.

She was born to Bill and Nancy Catherine Wilson on February 22, 1942 in Stanton, Texas.

In 1972, Lana married the love of her life, Russell Andrew Austin, in Midland, Texas. Lana and Russell went on to have 3 children, Andrew (Andy) Walter Austin, Gene Syrian Austin, and Deana Catherine Salazar. She was loved by her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren, which include Anthony Melvin Austin, Zackary Taylor Salazar, Joshua Lee Salazar, Ashley Dawn Austin, Russell Walter Salazar, Clayton Syrian Austin, Melody Catherine Austin, Lindsey Marie Austin and two great – grandchildren Ismael and Hunter Austin.

In 2002, Lana retired from Levelland I.S.D. and spent her time with her family. She predeceased by Husband Russell and parents Bill and Nancy Wilson. She is survived by her sisters Billie Fulcher, Mary Mcfarland, and Annie Feuer.

Funeral Services for Lana are scheduled for Friday, January 28 at 2 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home, 505 Austin St. Levelland, TX.
