Donna Hicks

Donna Hicks was born on December 22, 1948, in Levelland, Texas, and she walked the streets of heaven on July 5, 2022.  She was survived by her daughters and their spouses, Jonna McKinney (Mike) and Heidi Gresham (Kody); eleven grandchildren, Terence Hicks (Meagan), Savanah Yemata (Tom), Ben Hicks, Dakota Kiser (Britney), Britney Kiser, Madi Gresham, Kollin Gresham, Jayce McKinney, Rylee McKinney; three great grandchildren, Daniel Yemata, Rose Yemata, and Theo Hicks; and sister, Lybby Brown.

Those who were waiting in heaven to greet her were her parents, Murrell and Marie Brown; her son, Tye Hicks; her great granddaughter, Elena Celine Hicks; her sister, Sue Brooks; and her brother, Bill Brown.

Donna was the Christmas Queen and her beautifully decorated house brought joy to so many people.  She loved God, cooking, planting flowers, spending time with her kids, grandkids, and her dog Taffy.  She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, spending time next to her pond and she had a very special way of taking care of others by blessing them with her love of cooking.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel and left a hole in the hearts of so many of her friends and family. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.
