Kenneth Rumbaugh

Kenneth Wayne Rumbaugh, 85, of Levelland passed from this life on October 19,2024 after a lengthy battle with health issues at a local care facility. Celebration of life services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Levelland, Texas on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10:30 AM, with Pastor Cody Favor officiating. 

Kenneth was born on October 6, 1939, to Hugh and Ola Rumbaugh in Temple, Oklahoma. Kenneth was a devoted Christian, having attended the Second Baptist Church of Levelland, and was a hard-working, loyal team member for the City of Levelland for 42 years, serving as a supervisor in the utilities department. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Ola Rumbaugh; and his 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his sons, John Rumbaugh, Tommy Rumbaugh; his daughter, Shantel Lorenz; 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; along with many friends, neighbors, and fellow team members from the City of Levelland. Kenneth will be missed by all who knew him.
