Karen Pence

Karen Pence,63, of Levelland passed from this life on June 23,2024.

She was born December 23, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to Richard Carroll Pence and June Pence. Karen graduated from Lamesa High School in 1978. She fulfilled her dream of attending and graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1991. Karen retired from WRR Radio in 2014 and moved to west Texas to begin her second career in funeral service. After a year and a half of working for a corporation owned funeral home, Karen began working for Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland in September of 2016. 

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, June Pence; father, Richard Pence; brother, Carroll Neil Pence; and many other family members.

She is survived by her sister and brother, Marilyn and Steve Frauman; niece, Christy Frauman; nephew and niece, Drew and Shay Frauman; great niece, Copelynn June Frauman; many cousins and special Sista Cuz’s and Core Sistas. 

Karen requested that anyone that wanted to celebrate her life to get together with friends and loved ones and eat, drink and share memories. This is her request in lieu of a service.
