Julio Costilla

Julio Alejandro Costilla, 31, of Lubbock passed from this life on November 19, 2018. Visitation will be held at Krestridge Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born July 22, 1987 in Levelland to Guilde Costilla and Bessie (Quezada) Costilla. Julio graduated from Moreno Valley High School in Angel Fire, New Mexico. He worked as a computer technician in Lubbock.

Julio was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Sr. and Bertha Quezada, Guilde Costilla, Sr., Alfonso (Popo) Bela, Julio and Ynes Baiza.

He is survived by his father, Guilde Costilla; mother, Bessie Costilla; sisters, Sarah Lamar, Vanessa Costilla, Sandra Costilla, and Marlee Costilla; grandmother, Vicenta Bela; nieces and nephews, Madison Lamar, Matthew Lamar, Mason Lamar, Olivia Martinez, Vincent Martinez, River Prichard, Rosalie Tena, Mario Tena III, Nolan Canaday and Eden Canaday; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests memorials in Julio's name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
