Joyce Bartlett

Joyce “Elaine” Bartlett, 89, of Levelland passed from this life on December 30, 2020.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm MST on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, New Mexico.

She was born November 10, 1931 in Thornton, Texas to Brady and Lenabelle Lenamond.  Elaine loved staying busy.  She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and attending to her roses and irises.  Elaine was a member of the Lea County Rose Society where she competed in many shows and won.

Elaine enjoyed doing needle-point work, playing dominoes with friends and family, and playing yard games with her grandkids, nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed traveling with her late husband in her younger years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, AM Bartlett; sons, Gary and Jerry; granddaughter, Kami; brothers, Larry, Charlie and Parker Lenamond; and sisters, Mary Wilson and Linda Lenamond.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Moore and husband Gary of Levelland; sister, Deanna Respondek and husband Jim of Slaton; step-daughter, Vicki Payne and husband Danny of Austin; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
