Johnny Storch

Johnny Otto Storch, 68, of Levelland passed from this life on March 4, 2021.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 8, 2021, at First Christian Church.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.  Masks will be required at services.

He was born September 30, 1952 in Levelland to Alfred (Pete) and Margaret Storch.  Johnny worked with the land his whole life.  He took over the family farming operation after the death of his father in 1975.  He married Becky Cates in 1976.

Johnny was employed by Applied Environmental Services as a field supervisor from the late 90s until his retirement in July 2020.

He was a member of First Christian Church where he served as an Elder and Chairman of the Board. Johnny built the sign which presently stands in front of the church and erected the flag pole.

Johnny was a patriotic man and loved the state of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred (Pete) Storch; and his mother, Margaret Storch.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Becky Storch; daughter, Johnna Niehus and husband David; son, Matt Storch and wife Kathrin; grandchildren, Graydon Niehus, Maggie Niehus, Hudson Storch and Mia Storch; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
