Jodie Fortner

Jodie Lynn (Doshier) Fortner, 58, of Levelland passed away on June 8, 2018. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Jodie was born June 30, 1959 in Levelland to Alvin and Phyllis Doshier. She was a graduate of Whitharral High School and South Plains College, and attended Angelo State University. Jodie married Jerry Fortner on October 8, 1983 in Levelland.

Jodie was a teller at Citizens Bank and then Aim Bank. She loved spending time with family and friends, and camping in the mountains.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Jerod Fortner.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry Fortner of Levelland; daughter, Julie Fortner of Lubbock; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations in Jodie's memory to a charity of your choice.
