Jerry Beach

Jerry John Beach, 82, of Levelland passed from this life on January 7, 2022.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm CST on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am CST on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be held at 2:00 pm MST following the service at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM.

He was born July 7, 1939 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Garland and Letha Beach.  Jerry graduated from Clovis High School in 1957 and New Mexico State University with a degree in Agriculture Economics in 1970.

Jerry married Vanneta Ann Smith in Artesia, NM on June 1, 1962.  His banking career took him to Roswell, NM, Hereford, TX and Fort Sumner, NM, before retiring from Citizens Bank of Clovis.

He attended Southcrest Baptist Church in Lubbock.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Vanneta; his parents; and sister Bonnie Jo Johnson.

He is survived by daughters, Nancy Beach of Stamford, TX and Jeri Ann Dewbre and husband Dane of Levelland; grandchildren, Sam Dewbre and Annie Dewbre both of Lubbock; and dear friend, Jolene Tomlinson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to South Plains College Foundation, c/o Jerry and Vanneta Beach Family Scholarship, 1401 S. College Avenue, Levelland, Texas 79336.
