Janice Lee Burch

Janice Lee Burch, 75, of Buchanan Dam, Texas was called to Heaven on May 30, 2022.  Graveside services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Levelland Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Krestridge Funeral Home.

She was born on August 20, 1946 in Levelland, Texas to Harold Tobias (Hap) and Lucia Velma (Lulu) Klingensmith.  She attended Levelland schools and took great pride in being a cheerleader.  

She married Lonnie Ray Burch on September 19, 1964 in Levelland Texas where they raised their 3 daughters until they moved to Wyoming and made it their home for 25 years. They eventually made their way back to Texas in their retirement years.  Her greatest joy was her grandkids and great grandkids whom they lovingly called Grandma Janice and GiGi. Her friends and family lovingly called her Jan. She had a love for animals and always had a pet dog by her side.  She was a very talented self-taught seamstress.  Janice was a woman of faith and conviction and she could do anything she put her mind to. Janice was small but mighty!

Janice, we love you so much and will miss your kind loving soul and that great big smile.  Rest in peace Mama!  

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe Klingensmith and Charles (Bobo) Klingensmith; brother-in-law, Kenneth Whitt; and infant granddaughter, Amanda Jo Reinholz.

She is survived by Lonnie Burch of Buchanan Dam, TX, daughters, Rhonda (Randy) Reinholz of Magnolia, TX, Teresa Burch of Buchanan Dam, TX,  and Laurie (Dan) Gilbertson of Mt. View, WY, and sister, Kamelia Whitt of Alvord, Tx, grandsons, Cory (Shanea) Gilbertson, Cody (Ali) Gilbertson, and Cody Coleman; granddaughters, Aaron (Cody) Greenwood, Trista (Jason) Nelson, Stephanie (Jesse Rixse) Reinholz, Carissa (Casey Frear) Ray and Kylie (Josh) Gilbertson Jaques; great grandsons, Carter Nelson, Kasyn Gilbertson, Miles Gilbertson, Revel Jaques and Remy Gilbertson; great granddaughters, Madalynn Jaques, Liddia Jaques, Savannah Greenwood, Justice Nelson, Ella Greenwood, Olivia Greenwood, Brooklyn Nelson, Stevie Gilbertson and Pearl Reinholz.
