Janell Buchanan

Frances Janell “HeeHaw” Buchanan, 90, of Levelland departed this life Thursday November 25, 2021.

Janell was born on August 31, 1931 in Vernon, Texas to Dalton Townson and Iola Beatrice Cox.  She married Aubrey Haile “Buck” Buchanan on September 24, 1949.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Boggs and D’Aun Buchanan both of Levelland; her grandchildren, Audra (Jeff) Nunn of Levelland, Jody (Mande) Mulkey of Sundown, Ja’Lynne Mulkey of Sundown, Nikole Mulkey of Levelland, Greg (Deanne) Boggs of Magnolia, and Alan Boggs of Lubbock; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ray Cox of Azle.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, A.H. (Buck) Buchanan; her parents; brother, Glen Cox of Brownwood; and 3 sisters, Betty Culwell of Tulia, Barbara Cardwell of Artesia, NM and Delta Howard of Hobbs, NM.

Memorial services will be held at Krestridge Funeral home in Levelland on Saturday December 4, 2021 at 2 p.m.
