James McInturff

James T. McInturff, 83, of Levelland passed away at his home on February 23, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Second Baptist Church in Levelland.

James was born March 30, 1933 in Concho, Texas to parents Carl Gene and Mary Alice (Landers) McInturff. He was raised on a farm around Whiteface and Pettit. James married Barbara Quenell Sisk on January 9, 1954 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He served in the US Army for 8 years and served in the Korean War. He was a hot oil truck driver.

James enjoyed his family, The Cowboys and John Wayne.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl Marvin McInturff, son Danny Bruce McInturff, and daughter Regina Lynn McInturff.

Survivors include son, Larry Gene McInturff; daughters, Detta Clem of Fairchild, and Terry Clem of Levelland; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
