Henry Burran

Henry Burran, 90, of Levelland, Texas passed from this life on March 29, 2017 at a hospital in Lubbock, Texas. A family visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2017, in the Chapel of Krestridge Funeral Home. Interment will be on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 2:30 pm at Oakland Memorial Cemetery in Terrell, Texas.

Henry was born November 12, 1926 to parents Harrie and Lela (Mosely) Burran. He married Ortha Childress Ralston on December 15, 1976 in Levelland, Texas.

Henry served his country in the United States Army from 1944-1946. He loved life and lived for God and his family. He was a very active member of Primitive Baptist Church of Levelland.
Henry had a passion for gardening and enjoyed singing hymns, playing marbles and dominoes with family and friends. Once you were a friend, always a friend. He was the best dad and granddad ever and will be missed by all. Heaven gained a faithful Servant of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Ortha Ralston Burran; children, Roger Ralston and Johnetta Moore; two sisters; and six brothers.

Henry is survived by children, Cynthia (David) Blazer, Russ (Sharon) Burran, Deborah (Charlie) Whisner, and Betty Brinkley; 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
