Well, today is a day I have not been looking forward to.

This is my smart, gracious, handsome Papa.

Last night, he unfortunately had to leave this earth to serve our God.

Let me tell you a little bit about him-

This man was one of the most important people who has ever been in my life. He had a heart that was specifically crafted by Gods greatest angels.

The amount of love that would leave his body was beyond imaginable. There isn’t one bad memory in my head about this man, because he never gave me the chance to do anything but smile anytime I’m around him.

He was the hardest worker I’ve ever seen, he would work long hot hours in the oilfield as a welder every single day! He taught me so much on how to be a good honest man. He is the reason I am as successful and as hard working as I am today. I work every day to be like my Papa, so my future children/ grandchildren will be able to get a glimpse of him.

Every time I had the pleasure to see my Papa as a child he would put his tiredness to the side to help me build something new. It was fascinating to see such an amazing mind work. We would build something out of wood, metal, or if he was tired, Legos.

Recently, he has been living in a retirement home due to heath conditions. He suffered a brain bleed. Prior to that he has had dementia, and he has been taken care of by my wonderful grandma. She worked so hard every day to dress him, feed him, and help him run around and do everything he wanted.

I’m sitting here trying to ramble up words so you can see how such a great man lived, but my words can’t capture him; not because I don’t think there are words to, but because there are no words in the dictionary to help me explain so this is the best I can do.

The world lost a true angel today, I already know he is excited to get back to work and serve our God.

I love you Papa, your grandson Jordan.
