It is with profound sadness and aching hearts that we’ll have to wait to hear more of Harrison’s discussions of World history, all things sports, and his unwavering support of the 2nd Amendment.  But, we find solace that his body is released from the incessant, daily pain that he endured for so long.

 

Harrison Wayne Hill, 38, passed from this life, September 13, at his home in Levelland, Texas.

 

A Celebratory Service will be held Friday, September 16, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 1704 College Avenue, Levelland, with Rev. Ann Aiken officiating, assisted by Rev. Dennis Cates, and Bob Howell.

 

Harrison was born in Lubbock, Texas, on June 28, 1984 to K.W. and Shyrle Harris Hill. He achieved his Eagle Scout designation in 2000. He graduated from Levelland High School in 2002, serving as Student Body President. He graduated Magna cum laude in Political Science from Texas Tech University in 2005. And, graduated from Texas Tech School of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2009.  He worked briefly for Dispute Resolution in Lubbock, Texas, and City Bank Levelland, until his health no longer permitted.

 

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joe D. and Syble Harris of Ropesville, Texas; Eldon and Claudia Hill of Littlefield, Texas; aunt, Kathy Hill-Glenn of Plano, Texas; cousin, Jeffrey Patty of Allen, Texas; and his beloved Roxy and Bailey.

 

Survivors include his parents; sister, Annelise (Jake) Blessen; niece, Elsie Blessen of Omaha, Nebraska; uncle and aunt, Sammy J. and Marilyn Harris of Ropesville, Texas;  cousins, Matt (Molly)Harris of Brock, Texas, Samantha (Cameron)Oliver of Ropesville, Texas, Paige Patty of Allen, Texas, Scott(Molly) Bryson of Tyler, Texas, Preston and Claire Harris, Wyatt, Hayes, and Maverick Oliver, Ryan and Justin Patty, Katie, Tyler and Jessie Bryson;  and his constant companion, the love of his life, his Border Collie, Rosie.

 

Memorials may be made to Levelland Animal Shelter at 109 Commerce Drive, Levelland, Texas 79336 or to a charity of your choice.

 

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Krestridge Funeral Home, 806-897-1111.
