Guadalupe Martinez

Guadalupe Martinez was a true love, best friend, amazing wife, and even more amazing mother/grandmother.  She left this world surrounded by her family on June 14, 2021 at age 84.

Guadalupe was born to Juan and Maria Cirildo on August 24, 1937.  She married the love of her life, Tomas Martinez, on April 22 ^nd , 1956.  Together they had 7 children together: Tomas, Jose, Mary Jane, Olga, and Nelda, and 2 other children who died in infancy, Osvaldo and Norma.  In addition to her children, she also had 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  All of whom she adored and loved.

Guadalupe enjoyed spending time creating art through various types of crocheting, knitting, and sewing.  She loved making clothes for her family, quilting blankets, and had a penchant for embroidery.  Guadalupe enjoyed sharing these gifts with her daughters and sons in the hopes that they would someday pass it along to her grandchildren.  Guadalupe also claimed that her true passion came from caring for and loving her grandchildren.  She spent many days taking care of each of them and wanted nothing more than to be with them whenever the opportunity arose.

The family has scheduled a viewing for Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5 pm to 7 pm in Levelland, TX at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will also be held at Krestridge Funeral Home on June 18, 2021 at 11 am.

The family’s final wish is that Guadalupe has found the promise of peace and the solace of rest.  Your legacy will live on through those you have left behind.
