Glynn Lee

Glynn Lee of Sundown, Texas passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the age of 86, while a patient at University Medical Center Lubbock, Texas

Services for Glynn will be at the First Baptist Church in Sundown, Texas at 11 am on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 with Randy Winfrey officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1,2016 from 6-8 pm, at Krestridge Funeral Home.

Glynn was born in Erick, Oklahoma on May 8, 1930, and moved with his family to Sundown, Texas in 1938. He attended Sundown Schools and graduated in 1948. He immediately went to work in the oilfield.
Glynn was preceded in death by a son, Jon Lee, and Glynn's parents A.H. and Cora Lee, brothers, Roy, Carl, Ralph, Noel, Terry and Russel Lee and sister Rena Richardson.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Soula of Sundown, daughter, Pattie Lee of Capetown, South Africa and son, Steve Lee of Lubbock, grandchildren; Eric Lee of Lubbock, Kristy Fred of Reno, Nevada, Melissa Garza of Sundown, and Candice Crawford of Weatherford, Texas, great grandchildren; Katelynn Rodriguez, Hunter Stanley, Ryder Stanley, Stella Garza, Braiden Thomas, Jaleigh Freed, Tessa Fred and Kaelynn Fred, sisters; Iona Bilbrey and Anna Skinner of Sundown and brothers; Hanks Lee of Brandy and Bob Lee of Wilson, and a host of friends.
Glynn was active in the oil industry as a general contractor for many years through G &C Contracting, Glynne Lee Test Tank Rentals, and Lee Transports. He was well known as a fair man to deal with and always standing by his word

The greatest part of Glynn's life was spent living out his faith in Jesus Christ. Glynn and Soula traveled to parts of Asia, Europe and the United States, ministering through Youth with A Mission (YWAM). He was the happiest when he was sharing his love for the Lord.
