George Nickelson, Jr.

George William Nickelson, Jr., 56, of Littlefield passed from this life on May 29, 2018. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 4, 2018, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Littlefield Memorial Cemetery.

He was born January 22, 1962 in Lubbock to parents George William, Sr. and Ileene (Couch) Nickelson. George attended South Plains College. He married Cynthia (Cinde) Ann Tibbitts on June 6, 1992.

George was a lifetime farmer and also worked at Henry's Backhoe, Rinks, and Amoco. He also served on the Whitharral School Board.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Scott Nickelson.

George is survived by his wife, Cinde Nickelson of Whitharral; sons, Casey Shane Nickelson of Whitharral, Corey Ryan Nickelson of Lubbock, and Kyle James Nickelson of Whitharral; father, George Nickelson of Whitharral; mother, Ileene Nickelson of Whitharral; sisters, Lisa Rutledge and husband Todd of Whitharral, and Candace Jordan and husband Chuck of Clovis, NM; brother, Travis Nickelson and wife Judy of Levelland; grandchildren, Madyson Nickelson, Brooklyn Nickelson, and Carson Nickelson; and several nieces and nephews.
