Gayla Truelock-Williams

Gayla Truelock-Williams, 71, of Kilgore, and formerly of Levelland, passed from this life on June 13, 2018. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born December 16, 1946 in Clovis, New Mexico to parents, Burt and Pearl Williams. Gayla graduated from Portales High School. She obtained her Masters in Psychology and Counseling at Eastern New Mexico University. Gayla retired from South Plains College as a counselor and teacher. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Levelland.

Gayla was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Sheryl Ann Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Young; son, Darren Truelock and wife Meggie; daughter, Tharen Truelock; brothers, Bill Williams, Arlan Williams, and Troy Williams; and grandchildren, Alexandria Truelock, Duke Truelock, and Harlow Truelock.
