Gail Brock

Gail Brock, 89, of Levelland passed from this life on September 23,2024. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, September 26,2024 at First Baptist Church of Levelland. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. 

Gail was born June 8,1935 in Lubbock to Riley and Edmae Ford Kennedy. She married Jerry Brock on July 3, 1952 in Shallowater. She felt blessed by her life as a farmer’s wife and stay at home mom of 28 years before joining her son, Kirk as his bookkeeper at Brock’s Carpet for 26 ½ years. Gail was a loyal mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Her love for the Lord was shown through her devotion to her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Edmae Kennedy; brother, Ross Kennedy; sister, Kay Hulen; brother-in-law, Billy Ray Brock and sister- in- law, Sylvia Kennedy.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her husband, Jerry Brock; children, Kristy Porterfield and husband, Don, Kirk Brock and wife, Beverly, Kelli Martin and husband, Kurt and Kyle Brock; grandchildren, Kody Porterfield and wife, Cheyenne, Karleigh Porterfield, Kolt Brock, Kwail Brock, Klay Brock, Kassi Keeling and husband, Jake, Kylee Polvado and husband, Grayson and Kane Brock; along with her great- grandchildren, Brittan Brock, Klaire Porterfield, Reese Polvado, Sunny Polvado, Taylor Keeling, Kamryn Brock, Knox Brock and Kimber Brock. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Levelland.
