Eulalio Perez, Jr.

Eulalio Perez, Jr., 62, of Sundown passed from this life, Monday, September 13, 2021. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm on Saturday, September18, 2021, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sundown Cemetery with Brother Gil Ramirez officiating.

Pallbearers will be, Ricardo Perez, Jr., Andy Perez, Joshua Perez, Jacob Perez, Dustin Perez, Eric Perez, Jeffery Perez and Maurice Sanchez.

He was born June 5, 1959 in Levelland, Texas to Eulalio and Apolonia Sanchez Perez.

Jr. graduated from Sundown High School in 1978.  He was a lifelong resident of Sundown.  He loved his job--always the first one there, and the last one to leave.  His nieces and nephews were his pride and joy.  He rarely missed a football game, soccer game, birthday party, or graduation.  He particularly enjoyed playing golf with his nephews and brothers, and he loved holding and playing with the babies.  He was also a passionate Sundown Roughneck, still working the chain crew for every Friday night home football game.  He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eulalio Perez, Sr. and Apolonia Sanchez Perez.

Jr. is survived by brothers, Richard Perez of Fort Worth, Texas, Jesse Perez of Carlsbad, New Mexico,  Pete Perez (Adriana) of Sundown, David Perez (Kellye) of Beaumont, Texas,  Ronnie Perez of Sundown; sisters; Delia Perez (Edward Boswell) of Lubbock, Texas, Norma Perez (Nobert Pohl) of Sundown, Yolanda Perez of Sundown; numerous nieces and nephews; and companion, Dolores Hinojosa.
