Esther Smith

Funeral services for Esther Smith, 81, of Levelland will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2020, at South Plains Church in Levelland.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.  Family visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home.

Esther went to be in the presence of her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

She was born January 21, 1939 in Levelland to Efren, Sr. and Clelia Salazar.  Esther married Robert Smith, Jr. in March of 1960.  She was a beloved wife, nurturing grandmother, honest and loving mother, and faithful servant of God.  She was a member of Iglesia Bautista Calvario for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith, Jr.; daughter, Lorie Ann Smith; parents, Efren, Sr. and Clelia Salazar; and brothers, Efren Salarzar, Jr., Jesus Salazar and David Salazar.

Esther is survived by daughters, Nancy Ancira and Carol Smith; son, Robert Smith III; grandchildren, Julz Cano, Alexis Smith and Michael Cano; and great grandchildren, Nevaeh Flores, Zane Riojas, Maxwell and Amos Cano.
